Giles County Police Blotter
Giles County's multi-day arrest log is the jail portal's "Last 72 Hours" filter. Think of it as a rolling three-day booking view. It is not a weekly PDF. It is not a narrative police blotter either. The county publishes no separate weekly arrest archive, so this filter does the heavy lifting after a weekend, when a same-day check may no longer surface the intake you want. Keep in mind that it tracks jail bookings only, not every police contact, citation, or investigation.
The Sheriff's Department runs the portal. Entries can name other arresting agencies, including Pulaski Police.
The county posts no weekend, holiday, or daily schedule. Treat the 72-hour filter as a dated snapshot rather than a promise of completeness.
Read the Giles Arrest Blotter
Start with the official Last 72 Hours view. If that filtered address fails, open the main jail portal and apply the filter yourself. The direct Giles ISOMS address can behave inconsistently for local users. Having a second path in saves real time.
- Choose Last 72 Hours and note the date and time of the search.
- Use surname-letter navigation, then page through the entire result set.
- Compare intake time, city, arresting agency, charge, and bond.
- Separate the intake date from the alleged offense date or arrest time.
- Check the current-inmate view when continued custody is the question.
For a same-day event, the Arrests Last 24 Hours page is the better fit. The three-day view answers a different question: which recent county-jail intakes stay visible across several days.
Giles Arrest Log Fields
An entry is structured, but it is not a full incident report. Read its fields as a jail-system snapshot.
| Field | What it contributes |
|---|---|
| Name and age | Basic match information that still needs another identifier |
| Class, race, and sex | Agency-entered descriptors, not conclusions about identity |
| Intake timestamp | The recorded jail arrival time |
| City | A locality label that does not by itself establish arrest location |
| Arresting department and officer | The agency source; officer may be blank |
| Release date | A local custody field, not the final court disposition |
| Charge and bond | The charge and displayed bond at the booking stage |
| Image element | A placeholder was observed, but a public photo was not confirmed |
A blank release field means exactly that. Don't rewrite it as proof that someone remains in jail, since a public result can lag behind reality.
Weekend Giles Arrest Entries
A 72-hour filter can stretch from Friday night into Monday. That span makes it more useful than the rolling daily view. It helps when a weekend intake was missed. Giles County has never said entries are held for a fixed number of calendar days. It has never claimed that staff post in Monday batches or that holidays delay every record. A surge you see in one check is just an observation, not policy.
Pagination and surname controls matter once the window holds several days. One screenshot of the first result page cannot capture the whole period. A person can also linger in the current-inmate roster after their intake passes beyond the 72-hour filter. Meanwhile, a released person may still appear inside the recent window.
Note: Record the filter, timestamp, and page number whenever a specific log entry is cited.
Giles Arrest Reports in News
Two local outlets cover different slices of the arrest picture. WKSR local news runs incident-driven stories, agency releases, statistics, and enforcement announcements. It is not a daily list of every jail booking.

Check any named arrest against the official jail record and later court file.
Quad Cities Daily's Law & Order section has published Giles County date-range batches with booking photos and fields like charge code, court date, court type, offense date, arrest date, agency, bond type, and amount. Its cadence is batch publication, not a guaranteed daily update. News selection and jail filtering are different processes. So one source cannot vouch for the other's completeness.
Unofficial Giles Arrest Archives
Commercial county pages can reach back farther than the official 72-hour filter. That persistence is not the same as official retention, though. RecentlyBooked shows a last-30-days style view with volatile update times. Mugshots.com skews historical. Arrests.org, Busted Newspaper, and Mugshots.zone carry county or agency labels. They often display photos. All of them can be delayed, duplicated, or simply wrong. The RecentlyBooked Giles page is one such secondary index.

Treat its timestamps and entries as leads only. Verify custody with the Sheriff and the outcome with the clerk. The Mugshots.zone Giles page is likewise unofficial.

A copied photo or name does not prove a conviction or current custody status.
Enforcement Notices Are Not Arrest Logs
WKSR ran a Tennessee Highway Patrol sobriety-checkpoint notice. It covered State Route 11 near mile marker 13.1 in Giles County on June 5, 2026. That notice describes planned enforcement. It is not a list of resulting bookings. It cannot show that any named person was arrested. Any later intake belongs in the official portal, not the notice.
The same distinction applies to agency statistics. A count of bookings or warrants served covers a reporting period. It says nothing about one person's current location or final charge. Use the blotter for individual intake fields and statistical reports for broader agency activity.
Older Giles Arrest Records
Giles County does not publish a schedule for keeping rosters or booking photos. After an entry passes the 72-hour window, go straight to the custodian. The county adopted a records policy in April 2026. It lets you request the existing booking record from the Sheriff or jail. Include the exact name and the rough arrest date. Add the agency, plus any booking or court number you have. Tennessee requires proof of citizenship before access. Looking is free. Copies, plus any labor past the first hour, may cost a reasonable fee.
For the final legal outcome, ask a clerk. Try the Giles Circuit Court Clerk or the right General Sessions clerk. Older digging is different. The Giles County Archives keeps named historical holdings and microfilm. It makes no promise of modern Sheriff booking photographs. The Tennessee State Library and Archives offers county microfilm and court-minute routes too. Ask first which custodian holds the record series you need.
Note: A portal roll-off is not an expungement, and an unofficial online copy is not an official archive. If a court expunges an eligible record, follow the court and TBI process. Send the order to each agency. Then ask private publishers to fix their copies.
